Kiamichi Amateur Radio Club

Our organization was established to educate and assist area citizens, communities, first responders and emergency management services in the Kiamichi Valley about the various amateur radio technologies and to assist in developing expertise in using these technologies. To sponsor training to area residents in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and area Emergency Management Centers to prepare residents for basic first-on-scene, emergency response to disasters, search and rescue, fire and medical emergencies.
